How to Add Header and Footer in Microsoft Excel

Microsoft Excel has the option to add a Header and Footer to the document. This way you can add page numbers, date and time, plain text, and more. The best thing is that you can do this in just a few clicks, as well as set it to, for example, automatically add a page number to each page or enter the current time automatically.

  2. Click on Insert
  3. Click on Header & Footer
  4. We will get three sections in Header and Footer to which we can add content. Type in some text.
  5. We can also add dynamic content such as time, date, image and more.
  6. The same goes for Footer
  7. To return to the default Excel view just click on the empty space
