Weatherian – A Simple Weather App

Weather apps generally try to provide users with as much information as possible, as well as various ways to organize that information in an orderly manner. This is great, however, a lot of users don’t want detailed weather info, all they want is just to know how to dress and if it’s going to rain. In this case, using such applications becomes a pain because we do not need such a large amount of data and options. If you think you belong to this group of users, Weatherian is the app for you.

Weatherian is a free app for Android and iOS that will provide you with an insight into the weather forecast, and it is characterized by simplicity and ease of use.

How Does Weatherian Work?

As we said, Weatherian is characterized by its simplicity. This means that there are hardly any settings, and it only has one single screen. For the settings, you will be able to choose the weather forecast provider, measurement units and how to determine the location for which the weather forecast will be displayed. It can be an IP address, a GPS location, or you can enter the location manually.

As for the weather forecast itself, you won’t find detailed weather data here, but this isn’t Weatherian’s downside, it is its advantage. Honestly, how often have you been interested in the moon phases or the direction of the wind? We’re not saying that there aren’t those who need this, but that most users don’t need this information.

Weatherian displays the weather forecast up to ten days in advance, and the data, i.e. minimum and maximum temperature, is displayed using a diagram. Below this diagram is a map showing the position of the clouds in the area for which the weather is displayed, and below this you can see when the sun rises and sets.

Another important fact is that at the time of writing this review, there are no ads in Weatherian, and no option to buy anything. This means that this application is completely free.

Weatherian Is Simple and That Is Its Greatest Strength

Honestly, we liked the Weatherian. Its simplicity is also its greatest advantage. Although there are no settings, it is extremely easy to use, it only displays the most important weather data, and it is completely free. We didn’t encounter any problems or bugs while using it, so Weatherian gets our recommendation.
