9GAG is a free Android and iOS application for watching and creating memes, and in addition to the application, you can also access it via the website. This is one of the oldest applications of its kind. The website was created in 2008, and the application in 2012, and over the years the community that has developed here has created its own culture, based on humor, teasing, and mental support.

As for the app itself, it’s pretty simple. Memes are divided into categories, and when you select a category, all memes in that category will be displayed in a list, sorted from newest to oldest. You can rate memes and leave comments, and as many users claim, and we confirm, you will find the funniest memes in the comments. 9GAG also includes the option to create your own meme, and all possible formats are supported. In addition to memes, it is possible to upload video clips and GIFs. Some people don’t like this and it’s a shame that there is no option to turn this off.

We mentioned that the culture in 9GAG, in addition to humor, is based on teasing. This teasing is mostly for the purpose of humor and fun, but there is always someone who takes this too seriously. We have not had any problems with this and we do not want this to change. From such a direct relationship of users, support has developed among them, which often reminds us that humanity still exists on the Internet.

First of all, there are no categories, but the memes are divided into the latest, the best in the past 24 hours, the past weeks, months, and forever, and you can also watch randomly selected memes. Memes are not arranged in a list, but you scroll through them by swiping the screen left and right. You can rate memes and leave comments, and you will often find some of the best jokes in the comments.

Memedroid also includes an option to create your own meme, and the number of formats it contains is really impressive. In addition to popular formats, which are familiar to all of us, you will also find old, forgotten formats here, which we especially liked. In addition to memes, it is possible to upload video clips and GIFs, and here, also, there is no option to turn this off.

The biggest criticism we have is the fact that Memedroid is sometimes unstable and occasionally it happens that the application shuts down on its own or starts working very slowly, and then it is necessary to shut it down and restart the application in order for it to start working properly. These problems are not so common, but they are not so rare that we can ignore this.
