Noterly – Simple Reminders on Your Phone

Most of us are used to using a mobile phone to write down reminders. We used to do it using SMS messages that we didn’t send, but saved them in Draft and used them as a reminder, while today we have specialized applications for this that offer much more than a simple reminder.

However, there are users who claim that many such applications contain too many unnecessary options that make their use difficult, slow and tedious. If you belong to this group and want a simple reminder app that will send you notifications and not burden you with unnecessary options, we have just the thing for you.

Noterly is a free app for Android that will allow you to easily and quickly create and edit reminders on your smartphone.

How Does Noterly Work?

Once you install and run Noterly, you’ll see a nice and simple user interface. You create a reminder by pressing the New note button, after which the menu for creating a reminder will be displayed. Here you will be able to add the title and text of the reminder, and you will also be able to choose one of 12 predefined colors. Apart from this, you will only be able to schedule the time at which the application will notify you about the reminder and whether the reminder will be repeated.

All the reminders you create will be displayed on the main screen where you can easily view or edit them. When the reminder rings and is not set to repeat, you will be able to find it in the Archive section, where it will automatically go.

There isn’t much to the settings and the only thing you’ll be able to do is give Noterly permission to send you notifications and set how long Snooze lasts. You will also be able to read a short tutorial, but we believe that most users will not need this.

Another important fact is that Noterly is completely free and apart from the option to buy the author a coffee, that is, send a donation, there is no option to pay anything extra. In addition to this, we are happy to say that there are no ads in the app at all.

Noterly is a great app and is clearly aimed at those who value simplicity more than tons of options. It works great, and we love that it’s completely free and without ads. During use, we did not encounter any problems or bugs, so Noterly gets our recommendation.
