How to Align Text Left and Right on the Same Line in Microsoft Word
If you need to create, for example, a contract in Microsoft Word, you probably encountered the problem of placing two signature lines in the same row, but one on the left and the other on the right, and then you had to manually create spaces until the second line is in the desired position. This is fine for a line or a word or two, but if you need to do anything more complicated, you’ll quickly run into trouble. Fortunately, Word has a much better solution.

- How to Align Text Left and Right on the Same Line in Microsoft Word
- First, we’ll turn on the ruler. If the ruler is already on, skip this step. Click on View.
- Turn on the option Ruler
- In the upper left corner of the workspace there is a box with an icon of the angle oriented down-left, click on this box until the orientation of the angle is down-right.
- Click on the ruler and the icon with angle oriented down-right will appear. Move this icon to adjust where the text on the right side will align.
- Start typing and the text will align to the left. Press the TAB button on the keyboard and you will be able to type text that will be right-aligned.
