How to Number Columns in Google Sheets

While working in Google Sheets, it often happens that we need to mark certain columns with numbers. We can do this in several ways, and we will show you one of the easiest ways, in our opinion.

1. How to Number Columns in Google Sheets
2. Click on the field from which you want to start numbering and type 1, and in the field below type 2
3. Highlight both columns and drag to the field you want to number the columns to
4. You can start numbering from any number, and the procedure is exactly the same
5. You can also number every second, third or any number
