How to Turn Seen Status on or off on Instagram

In Instagram, like in most modern apps, when someone sends you a message and you open that message, the person who sent you the message will be able to see that you opened and viewed the message. However, you can turn this option off in the settings so that no one can see when you view a message. However, if you turn this option on, you also won’t be able to see when someone opens your message, regardless of whether their device has this option turned on or off.
