MiTec InfoBar – Taskbar for the Most Important Information
Most will agree with us when we say that the settings in Windows are of debatable quality. Everything from setting the appearance and the way this operating system works, to the display of information and access to system resources and the most used programs, can be improved in many ways. For this reason, numerous programs have appeared that try to solve these problems.
MiTec InfoBar is a free program for Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8, 10, and 11 that will provide you with a quick and easy view of the information you choose.
How Does the MiTec InfoBar Work?
When you install and start MiTec InfoBar, an additional taskbar will appear along the top edge of the screen. This taskbar is used to display a variety of information, such as the weather forecast and lunar phases, the exact time and date, latest news, but also system information such as data on processor usage, process, network, RAM, the time that has passed since the system boot, and so on.
You can edit which data is displayed and what exactly is displayed in the settings, and you can also remove certain information completely. In the news section, for example, you can edit which news will be displayed and from which websites will the news come.
It is also possible to edit how the taskbar itself will look, although the options here are quite limited. It is possible to change its color, position on the screen, and there is also an option that will hide the taskbar until you move the mouse close to the edge where it is located. In addition to this, you can use the MiTec InfoBar to virtually press the Num, Scroll, and Caps Lock keys, as well as to launch programs.
In addition to displaying information, MiTec InfoBar also offers the possibility of using built-in software tools, such as Notepad, Calendar, Calculator, System Monitor, RSS reader, and others. What is interesting here is that these are not Windows programs, but MiTec InfoBar programs. There are a total of 10 of them and we can say that we liked them all and believe that they can easily be a replacement for those from Windows.
MiTec InfoBar Phenomenally Organizes a Large Amount of Information in a Small Space
MiTec InfoBar is a great program and we really liked it. The information it presents is excellently organized and clearly displayed in a small space. We didn’t encounter any problems or bugs while using it, so if you don’t mind having another taskbar on your screen, we suggest you try this phenomenal program.
