Windows 10 will allow running of Samsung applications

If you own a new Samsung smartphone and you are also a Windows 10 user you are on the right track. Samsung has announced new functionality in using android applications – “Link to Windows”, running phone applications from PC.

Application Your Phone already allows users to see notifications, files and texts on Windows 10, but soon it will allow full control of your phone straight from your computer.

How does it work?

This functionality will be available for Samsung Android devices version 9.0 and newer. The only requirement is that PC and phone need to be connected to the same wi-fi network, which means that if you are using a desktop computer, these operations will be available from home.

Using a mouse and keyboard, you will be able to use applications the same as computer programs. You will be able to move it to the Taskbar and Start menu for frequent use. Also in a separate window, you will see the display of your phone. Option for running multiple applications will be available for Samsung Galaxy Note 20 and Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra devices.

No matter the restrictions in case of devices and software, this new functionality represents a step forward for phone and PC usability.
