Windows 11 – How to solve Blue Screen error: Driver Power State Failure

What causes Driver Power State Failure blue screen error and reboot on Windows 11
By analyzing the Windows error logs, we came to the conclusion that the DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE error on Windows 11 is mainly caused by the failure of the USB driver.
USB driver failure usually occurs for 3 reasons:
- PC was in sleep mode
- PC was in hibernation mode
- Fast startup is enabled on the PC
Here’s how to adjust the above three options and get rid of this Windows 11 Blue Screen of Death error.
Disable SLEEP, HIBERNATION and USB Selective Suspend
Click on the search box in Windows 11 taskbar and enter “power“, chose option: Edit power plan
For option “Put the computer to sleep“ select “Never“ and click on “Change advanced power settings“
Set the value for the “Turn off hard disk after“ to 0
Set the values for the “Sleep after“ and “Hibernate after“ to 0
Set the value for the “USB selective suspend setting” to “Disabled“
Click on the “Apply” button and then click on the “OK” button
Click on the “Save changes“ button
Disable fast startup
Click on the “Chose what the power button does“ link
Click on the “Change settings that are currently unavailable“
Uncheck box for the option “Turn on fast startup (recommended)“ and click on “Save changes“ button
Restart your computer and see if the Blue Screen error Driver Power State Failure is gone!
