WinRAR includes a handy option where you can password protect any file you zip using this program. When you set a password and try to extract the file, you will need to enter the password first, otherwise, you will not be able to extract the file.

- How to Password Protect a WinRAR File
- Right-click the file or folder you want to zip and password-protect
- Click on Add to archive…
- Click on Set password…
- In the field Enter password, type the password you want to use, then click on OK
- Click on OK
- If you try to unzip this file, you will need to enter the password first
