How to pause update in Windows 10

It looks like Windows updates always happen in the worst possible time. We show you how to pause, postpone, and even set an exact date for when they happen. Check out our video below.

1. Click on Start
2. Click on Settings
3. Click on Update & Security
4. Clicking on Pause updates for 7 days you will postpone update for 7 days
5. Date when the update will happen is here
6. Using this method you can postpone update for 5 weeks maximum
7. Clicking on Resume updates you can continue update immediately
8. Click on Advanced options
9. Under Pause updates in option Pause until you can choose the exact date when update will happen
