How to Remove Text Formatting in Google Docs

Sometimes it’s easier to work in a document that doesn’t have any text formatting. In Google Docs, you can easily remove text formatting from a part or entire document.

  1. How to Remove Text Formatting in Google Docs
  2. To remove formatting from a section of document, select the text with the mouse
  3. Click on Format and then on Clear formatting
  4. You can remove formatting from an entire document in the same way. 
Select the entire document with the mouse or press CTRL + A on the keyboard
  5. Click the Clear Formatting button or press CTRL + \ on your keyboard
