Sometimes it’s easier to work in a document that doesn’t have any text formatting. In Google Docs, you can easily remove text formatting from a part or entire document.

- To remove formatting from a section of document, select the text with the mouse
- Click on Format and then on Clear formatting
- You can remove formatting from an entire document in the same way. Select the entire document with the mouse or press CTRL + A on the keyboard
- Click the Clear Formatting button or press CTRL + \ on your keyboard
