How Does Ambie Work?

Ambie is a simple program that offers you a large number of natural sounds such as thunder, rain, birdsong, beaches, but also sounds such as the sound of the street, library, or cafe. You can combine these sounds with each other and find the perfect combination that will suit you best.

When combining sounds, we suggest you experiment, because some of our favorite combinations are not immediately obvious. One combination that we especially liked was the sounds of fire, thunder, and the cabin on the plane.

Using the program is easy. All types of sounds are displayed in the main menu, and to play them you just need to click on one of them. Combining is also easy and you just need to play several sounds at the same time. A good option is that you can adjust the volume separately for each sound, and we suggest you use this option because otherwise, it will not get the desired effect.

When you install Ambie, you will initially have 13 sounds, but it is possible to download another 23 sounds for free from the Catalogue options, and another 22 are paid. New sounds are constantly being added so you can expect even more choices in the future.

As for the settings, there are not many options here. You can change the theme of the program, set the timer when the program will automatically close, turn off the sound of notifications and options, which we really liked, Screensaver that will display images related to the sounds you are currently listening to.
