Tudum – Netflix Has Launched a New Section on Its Website
Netflix is known to all of us as a website where we can watch online movies and TV series, and that pleasure will cost us from 9 to 18 dollars a month. In addition to the streaming platform, Netflix also owns a production company that produces movies and series that premiere on this website.
In early December 2021, Netflix launched a new section on its website called Tudum. Here you will be able to find the latest information on all Netflix movies and series, as well as watch trailers and read the news. In addition to this, you will be able to see bonus scenes, behind-the-scenes, and interviews with actors and directors.
Tudum is essentially a place that Netflix wants to use to promote its movies and series, so this should be seen as a section of the website where the ads are displayed. Given that most Netflix series and movies are strongly criticized by audiences, perhaps a place for discussion would benefit the company more than another way of advertising.
However, that does not mean that the audience will not benefit from Tudum. Occasionally, Netflix makes a product worthy of attention, and then additional content can be interesting to fans. So, right now on Tudum you can find out how long the Witchers live if you are a fan of the popular The Witcher series or where you can get a tracksuit worn by contestants from The Squid Game series.
Is Tudum Noteworthy?
The short answer is yes, and the longer one is maybe. In the end, it all depends on how Netflix wants to use this section and whether you are interested in this type of content. If Tudum focuses entirely on promotion and advertising, then this section will become another useless website that Google is trying to trick us into by placing it at the top of the search.
On the other hand, if the idea of this section is to entertain and provide additional and quality content to users, then this can become an interesting place where we will be able to spend time while waiting for the new season of our favorite series.
