How to Turn Game Mode on or off in Windows 10

Every operating system, and Windows in particular, consumes computer resources during operation. This can be a problem while playing video games that can lag because Windows has allocated RAM or CPU to a background program, which you are not using, instead of the game. The solution is Game Mode, an option that, while you are in the game, will “put to sleep” all background programs, except for those necessary for the operation of Windows.
