How to Turn on Reader Mode in Google Chrome

Most modern internet browsers contain the Reader Mode option. When this option is enabled, websites will appear simplified. This is intended to make reading easier because almost everything except text and images will be removed from the site.

Google Chrome has had this option for a long time, but it is not available through Settings but is hidden in experimental options. We don’t know why this option is not part of the usual settings, because it works great and without any problems.

  2. Open Chrome and type chrome://flags in the URL field, then press Enter on your keyboard
  3. In the search box, type reader mode
  4. Open the drop-down menu and click on Enabled
  5. Click on Relaunch
