RoundedTB – Rounded Edges and Reduced Size of the Taskbar in Windows

The problem that Windows users have been pointing to since its earliest days is the lack of options to adjust the look of this operating system. This problem is most pronounced when it comes to the taskbar. In Windows 10, we got certain options for adjusting the functionality of the taskbar, but the options for adjusting the layout were missing.

RoundedTB is a free program for Windows 10 and 11 that will allow you to have rounded edges of the taskbar and divide it so that it takes up only as much space as needed.

How Does RoundedTB Work?

RoundedTB is a simple program and after you install and run it, you will see a small menu with only two options. The first option is Margin, which, as you probably already guessed, adjusts the margins around the taskbar. The size of the margins can be adjusted using the slider or by manually entering the size in the field below the slider.

The second option is Corner radius, and this option adjusts the roundness of the taskbar corners. As with margins, you can adjust the roundness by dragging the slider or typing the size in the box below the slider.

In addition to adjusting margins and rounding edges of the taskbar, RoundedTB offers a couple of other useful options, which you can access by clicking the Advanced button. The first option is the ability to adjust each margin (top, bottom, left, and right) separately.

It is not possible to change the colors of the taskbar in the program. However, RoundedTB is compatible with the TranscluentDB program, which is used to adjust colors as well as add visual effects to the taskbar. In the Advanced section, there is an option, which allows the integration of TranscluentDB with RoundedTB.

The last and very important option of RoundedTB is the ability to change the size of the taskbar so that it takes up only part of the screen, and how big this will part will be is up to you. Also, it is possible that the System Tray (lower right corner of the screen, next to the clock) is hidden until you place the mouse cursor over where it should be.

RoundedTB is an interesting program and we are sure that certain users will like it. Unfortunately, the function it performs will not reach a wide audience, but for some, it will, without a doubt, improve the experience of using Windows. We suggest you download and try it, you might like it.
