If you search the Internet often, it probably happens to you that you cannot find something with one Internet search engine, only to find it immediately when you try another one. We will introduce you to a tool that will help you in this work.
Giraffe Search Tools is a free plugin for Google Chrome that will allow you to search for what interests you on several Internet search engines at the same time.
How Does Giraffe Search Tools Work?
When you install Giraffe Search Tools, its icon will appear in the upper right corner of the Internet browser, in the area reserved for plugin icons. Clicking on this icon opens a new tab from which you manage the plugin.
In this menu, there is a field in which you need to enter search terms, and then you need to choose the search engines with which you want to perform the search. There are 12 search engines available, including Google, Bing, Yahoo, Yandex, Amazon, Wikipedia, and others.
When you perform a search, the results will all appear on the same page, divided into sections. You can adjust the size of each section separately, as well as the arrangement in the columns, and it is also possible to hide or turn off the section that you do not need.
We liked that you can open links from search results in a new tab, but also open them in a section reserved for the search engine that found the link. This way you can easily check whether the search result is what you were looking for or not.
The only criticism we have is that it is not possible to add a search engine that is not on the list already. This, unfortunately, can be a big problem, especially if you like to use search engines like DuckDuckGo or Brave.
Giraffe Search Tools is a handy tool when searching the internet
Despite our criticism, we liked Giraffe Search Tools and believe that it will be of great use to certain users. We just hope that in the future we will get the option to add any search engine we want. We didn’t encounter any problems or bugs while using it, so Giraffe Search Tools gets our recommendation.
